Rayon Batik

These unique garments are made from high-quality rayon that is hand-batiked in Indonesia. The hand-batiked fabric is then hand-sewn into tunic tops, caftans, kimonos, and fringed scarves. These one-size garments are machine washable and dryable, and will not shrink or fade. In fact, they will only get softer over time. The tunic poncho tops and the caftans are cut in a square pattern and will drape nicely on the sides, for sizes 10 to 3X. They are perfect for wearing with leggings or jeans, and the caftan can be worn loose or belted. Both make great bathing suit coverups. The fringed scarves are made from the same material as the tunic tops and caftans and are often worn with both to create a collar look at the neck. The kimonos are also one size with Japanese kimono sleeves, belt loops and a matching sash. These kimono robes are from our late tailor who was very meticulous about the quality of the fabric and the sewing. Many of the prints in stock are one-of-a-kind, so we only show a few at a time on our site. As one sells, we replace it with another.
